Bentonite Clay Information
Feb 10

Our water contains a low turbidity. I've heard that this weighing agent is excellent for our type of water, although I've never seen it used. I don't know a good starting point for how much of this to feed. Should I mix it into a solution with water, or dry feed it? Seems like it needs a lot of mixing to preform well. Any help or theories would be awesome. Thanks guys.

Bentonite clay has to be throughly and carefully mixed with water before using. It has many unusual qualities and does do well as an adsorbant where there is low turbidity. I would suggest obtaining some samples and doing some jar tests with your specific water to see if it helps and how much to use.
Good luck with it.
