Location: Charleston, SC
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Oversight/review of industrial wastewater engineering/permitting projects;
Lead and grow the Charleston office water/wastewater practice team;
Contribute to the growth of the southeast water/wastewater practice area;
Effectively delegate assignments and facilitate an even flow of work to junior personnel;
Expand the local client base and participate in proposal writing and presentations;
Participate in state and local associations to build awareness of the company locally;
Be knowledgeable of the company’s resources worldwide and apply them to the needs of the client;
Achieve project management and sales goals of $300K in year one and $500K+ thereafter;
Maintain 65% billability;
Travel as required to service client sites within region.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
BS/MS in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering;
Registered PE in SC and other Southeast states (preferred);
10 (minimum) years experience in water/wastewater (primarily industrial wastewater) consulting (SC or southeast preferred);
Strong client management skills and marketing focus;
Proven project management skills and individual sales performance;
Advanced knowledge of various industrial manufacturing process and their associated water and wastewater treatment processes;
Experience in designing, conducting and evaluating treatability, bench-scale, and pilot-scale, treatability studies;
Capable of performing design calculations and managing engineering teams as necessary to generate the plans, specifications, and other documentation required for the construction of water/wastewater treatment systems;
General knowledge of water quality/permitting issues and proven negotiation skills with regulators (preferred);
Strong communication, analytical and computer skills
