In charge of 18 personnel and 33 water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities in his area that includes Putnam and Westchester counties. Over sees construction, commissioning and operations of Memcor Continuous Micro Filtration Systens in the New York City Watershed. Responsible for overall operations and maintenance, scheduling, compliance monitoring and reporting, customer service, client contracts and relations, business development, budgets and capital improvements.

Chief Operator, Severn Trent Services, Poughkeepsie, NY (2004-2005)
Responsible for process control, preventive maintenance, operator work schedules, lab sampling and analysis, compliance reporting and recordkeeping at the 5.777-MGD activated sludge wastewater plant with aerobic digestion, sludge dewatering and biosolids composting.

Lead Operator, County of Hawaii (2003-2004; 1990-1997)
Performed all aspects of operation, maintenance, lab analysis, monitoring and recordkeeping at a 1-MGD conventional and 5-MGD aerated lagoon activated sludge wastewater treatment plants that produced R-2 reuse irrigation water. Supervisor/Head Operator, Island Utility Service Kamuela, HI (1993-2004)
Served as supervisor and head operator of four activated sludge plants including new R-1 reuse plant utilizing sand filtration and ultraviolet disinfection. In direct responsible charge of eight plants on the Island of Hawaii. Responsible for operation and maintenance of potable water well pumping, reverse osmosis water treatment plant and distribution systems and of a brackish water system for golf course and landscape irrigation. Responsible for regulatory analysis, monitoring and reporting for all systems. Served as Occupational and Safety Training Manager and primary emergency call-out responder. Also responsible for client and customer relations.

Operator, City and County of Honolulu (1986-1990)
Provided operation and maintenance at 75-MGD and 25-MGD advanced primary wastewater treatment plants with processes that included screenings and grit removal, sludge thickening and dewatering, wet oxidation heat treatment, effluent pumping and disinfection. Responsible for boiler operations, heat treatment acid washes, chlorine handling, lab analysis and mass balance calculations. Also a member of the Safety Committee.
