Objective: Seeking challenging position in water/wastewater treatment system design and project management, which allows me to serve as a key member of the team while making use of my engineering and designing skills to improve organizational productivity.
Profile: Bachelor in Civil Engineering with specialization in Environmental Engineering. Knowledge of Environmental protection and Enhancement Act, Water Act and Occupational Health & Safety Act. Familiar with API Standard 650 for welded steel tank for oil storage, ASME boiler and pressure vessel code. Familiar with different treatment technologies for produced water from SAGD process such as oil/water separation (IAF/IGF separator), lime softening (HLS/WLS) & ion exchange. Relevant Professional Experience: Involved in proposal and bid preparation of skid mounted/containerized water/wastewater treatment systems. Responsible for preparing specifications and equipment sizing which includes tank & pipe sizing for water & wastewater treatment plant layout and design. Assisted in design of different attached growth/suspended growth wastewater treatment processes such as Trickling Filter Extended Aeration (TFEA) system, Submerged Film Extended Aeration (SFEA) system and Extended Aeration (EA) system. Assisted in design of different filtration processes such as Reverse Osmosis, softeners & Ion Exchange systems for desalination plant and potable water supply system. Responsible for developing PFD & P & ID, estimate preparation and quantity take off for water/wastewater treatment projects. Involved in environmental auditing in compliance with the Province regulations. Responsible for sampling of client water and wastewater streams , analyzing water and waste water records and provided information required for permitting or regulatory purposes. Responsible for drawing graphs and perform mathematical calculations on different water and waste water parameters. Examined water and wastewater treatment facilities to ensure compliance with regulations. Responsible for managing daily activities including preparation of reports and correspondences. Reviewed and approved engineering drawings of water/wastewater treatment plant to ensure conformity with project specifications, company guidelines and engineering practices.
