HACH LBOD Probe...
Feb 03rd, 2011, 6:41pm

I've had mine for three years, never any issues... until now...

The DO readings are dramatically shifting all of a sudden, from 8.02 to 10.59, and taking longer than 2 minutes to stabilize.

Time to replace?

The only thing I know about those guys is that you should replace the sensor tip annually.  If you haven't done that before, I would say after 3 years it is about that time. Smiley

Yes, the sensor cap is replaced once a year  Wink  In fact, that's how I usually know that I need a new one, when the DO doesn't stabilize within a minute or less.  This time though... I just replaced the cap last week...  Huh

Check with Hach tech support.  They are usually really good about giving good support on their equipment.

Update:
Talked to Tech Support, ran a software upgrade (downloaded free from HACH site) and things seem to be running well so far...   Cheesy
