measurement of dissolved oxygen in testing process
Aug 24th, 2011, 10:38am

I am testing a new method of increasing DO in water.
I am using a YSI DO meter. When I run compressed air through our
system I get 8.29 ppm DO and 97% saturation.
When we run oxygen the levels are out of range of the YSI meter (20 ppm).
The winkler method is only good up to 10 ppm. any suggestions?

Not to Sound like a salesman, but Hach LDO range is 0.1 to 20.0 mg/l.

The Winkler will work. Just titrate a smaller aliquot of sample. DO meters will read up to 20 mg/L.
