Wastewater Treatment Operations Supervisor

The Allied Companies has an immediate opening for an experienced Wastewater Treatment Operations Supervisor to provide technical support for an operationally – based wastewater Vulnerability and Risk study. This is a 6 - 9 month opportunity based in Washington DC. The successful candidate will have at least 10-15 years of wastewater treatment operations and management experience with a proven track record of strong leadership, organization, and project management skills as well as effective communication skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•      Adhering to developed protocols for handling, storing and distributing all project related data and work products;
•      Collecting data through review of record drawings, in-depth site surveys, and staff interviews;
•      Identifying threats and hazards to the subject facility;
•      Analyzing collected data and threat and hazard information to determine the consequences to the facilities’ operations, utility’s customers and surrounding environment due to a catastrophic failure of one or more components of the treatment processes and/or significant disruption to the utility’s administrative functions;
•      Assisting with the preparation and review of an operationally-focused Vulnerability Assessment document; and
•      Attending various project progress and review meetings.

Compensation will be based on experience but approximately $40 per hour
