Hach offers information for download from their web site: http://www.hach.com/cod-digestion-vials-low-range-pk-150/product-parameter-reagent?id=7640193205   then click on "8000"  When Method brochure comes up, go to page 5 and read " Summary of Method" section

in COD determination in LR(0-150) the wavelength should be in 400 nm region and in HR(0-1500) wavelength is in 600nm region.
(in standard method they say it is 420 and 600nm)
