Ozone Treatment in Collection Systems Force Main

Dear fellow friends of the industry,
I would like hear from anyone who has used or is using ozone in the wastewater collection system to reduce hydrogen sulfide gas odors and related corrosion. We are about to do a trial on an ozone generation and injection system and would like to hear about your experiences with such as system.

Price is usually the biggest obstacle with ozone as well as the in-house generation.

Ozone is a viable treatment in this application. It can also be applied for odor control in the EQ tank, sluice valve and metering pit areas.
