Multiple Project Engineers Needed in the CO area

Specific Requirements: Engineering - Confirm design conditions for equipment sized in proposal and define equipment, valve, and instrument requirements to meet specifications. Provide design requirements to Siemens equipment for use in detailed design. Advises on complex design issues and solutions. May create and establish routine test programs to verify design calculations and quality of equipment. Determines and specifies tolerances. Reviews supplier designs and bids to ensure conformance to code, company standards and customer specifications for technical requirements and quality.

Standardization - Provides input for redesign of standard products to improve quality, productivity, and equipment performance and to enhanced value by minimizing product execution costs and alleviating mechanical, electrical or process issues.

Financials/Budgeting - Responsible for management of project discipline engineering to maintain performance of assigned routine engineering tasks on time, within budget and to the standards required. Must consider groups responsibilities and the impacts to other organization teams (electrical, design) and provide project execution plan which enhances the abilities of these groups to complete their required tasks on time and within budget.

Project Execution and Quality - Evaluates accepted proposal and develops execution strategy with project management. Provides lead technical interface to customer, vendors, and internal team members on project requirements. Evaluates schedule status with respect to technical performance and provides point of communication for engineering to project management. Provides project specific quality program requirements to engineering team and fabrication to meet requirements of specifications. Ensures applicable quality gates are reviewed and completed with all issues addressed.

BS IN CHEM or ME is pref.
Experience with Process Eng. or Facility Eng pref.
 
General Requirements: Job Family Responsibilities:

Participates in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation and appropriate follow-up. Provides support in semi-complex design, development, testing and modifications of solutions. Provides support in preparing explanations and clarifies information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of semi-complex specifications, performance characteristics or other technical data. Participates in communicating semi-complex technical and commercial issues. May participate in recommending semi-complex new designs, new processes, or design changes to meet requirements.

Education:

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.Typically 2-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
