Specific Requirements: Order Execution Process Specialist

Member of the Project Order Execution Team (Project Management, Project Engineering, Site Execution), responsible to monitor and develop business processes within the framework of PM@Siemens project management system.

Project Process Management;
• Lead work teams in the development of cross functional and cross location procedures and work instructions that provide efficient implementation of policies and procedures defined by the PM@Siemens project management system.
• Lead in development of process for managing interfaces to other portions of the Project organization. (Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, etc.)
• Monitor Project Milestones and quality gates for compliance to the program standards.
• Lead Teams in development and implementation tools to develop Project Management process maturity.


Other Business Excellence Responsibilities include:
• User support for project management tools for project bid approval escalation and project performance reporting.
• Manage resolution of project quality incidents and non conformities.
• Management and support work team leaders in execution of the EH&S program within Order Execution, including training, incident reporting, and safety observations.
• Management of continuous improvement program within the department.
• Manage reporting process for defined Order Execution KPI’s.

Minimum Requirements

• BS or BA in Engineering or related discipline
• Demonstrated Experience in Project Management processes
• Demonstrated Experience in continuous improvement methods
• Self Motivated with excellent team skills
• Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Requirement

• Project Management Professional certification
• 8 years experience in Project Management and/or business process improvement.
• Experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) Module.

The Ideal Candidate would have experience with:
• PM@Siemens Project Management Processes
• Advance training in Lean continuous improvement for transactional environment.
 
General Requirements: Job Family Responsibilities:

Guides the analysis of existing methods to promote effective operations through standardization, improvement, simplification, discontinuance, or other methods. Develops recommendations for business processes that ensure alignment with strategic direction; integrates business processes between multiple organizations. Guides the coordination of business process changes, implement system solutions.

Education:

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Knowledge and Experience:

Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
