CT & Log Removal Information Source

Hello Colleagues,

I am trying to create an SOP for my Water Treatment Plant and I have not been able to find a source of information that relates to the increase of ct & log removal when the raw influent water bacteriological quality is poor. CDPH has provided us an excel spreadsheet that does it automatically, however it does not explains its source.

Any help is extremely appreciated.

Hello Jeff,

CT and Log removal are related to the potable water disinfection. It's a calculation that provides the level of disinfection in reference to the quantity of chlorine applied, water reservoirs & pipes capacities and contact time.

I though I could find this info on the LT2ESWTR, but it's not.

Thanks for your help!
