HOW to increase MLSS concentration
May 10th, 2012, 8:07pm

Sir,
Morning.

Me and my supervisor finding for optimum polymer usage for Dewatering seem our BOD loading is low, we by pass Thickening process. Our WAS pump working intermittent to archive 1-2% ( 1000- 2000 mg/L). Now we could only collect sample for 10000 mg/L from Thickening Tank. Now my problem is, how to increase my MLSS from 10000 to 40000 mg/L to conduct my lab test to determine the optimum polymer.

Please advise.

Hi Karan,
I find your question a little confusing, can you clarify, please?
If you are trying to optimise polymer dosage, then you will have to do some bench or jar tests.
