This position has supervisory, technical, and administrative responsibility for a wastewater utility and is expected to perform the following functions under the general supervision of a division manager. Supervises and participates in the operation of the wastewater utility, including any ancillary operations, laboratory work, control systems, and all phases of maintenance and repair; Assists in short and long-term planning; Authorizes the purchasing of materials according to company and City guidelines; Attends and/or facilitates monthly client board meetings as required; Assures that the needs of the client are met in compliance with contract obligations; Implements policies set by the client;  Assists in the preparation of the annual budget; Reviews and evaluates the work of all employees.
 
Required Qualifications:  Must reside within 30 minute response time and work on-call rotating schedule
 
Preferred Qualifications: MO Wastewater Collection and Wastewater Treatment “A” licenses, or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
 
This is a Regular, Full Time, Benefit Eligible position.
