Usage of 0.5 micron ceramic filters in ETP

Hi,

I wanted to understand the technical viability behind using 0.5 micron sintered ceramic filters for filtering water with a TSS of 100 ppm before sending it into a RO system. How effective are such ceramic filters in wastewater and do they have frequent clogging issues? I also have a turbidity of 10 NTU.
