Could you suggest me topic for research on waste water treatment . My interest is aerobic processes (biological treatment)of waste water treatment.

I would strongly suggest re-visitng your BS studies to see where you missed the area of study that should have lead you in this direction already.

In a field as vast & varied as Wastewater; surely there was a class or set of classes that would/should have already provided this direction for you.

Try visitng a few WWTPs to observe their operation & processes.

As Dallas said there are lots of topics you can study and research, but I suggest you to search around yourself, your city , your country, ... and see what you really need. So your effort will be effective and will motivate you more. Forget about complicated extravagant unusable methods for your area.
