PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
PARKSON, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 2010 – 2012 Established in 1960, Parkson engineers and supplies equipment and treatment solutions for potable water and wastewater in both industrial and municipal markets. Director Research, Development, & Innovation and Biological Center of Excellence Direct reports 3; indirect reports 12; employees 150. Led internal Product Innovation projects using Stage-Gate process. Managed Water Research Facility encompassing pilot equipment, analytical laboratory, and test tank. Led team of Product Managers responsible for all aspects of Parkson’s Biological portfolio. * Directed team of Innovation Engineers in design, testing, and release of three major product innovations increasing revenues attributable to new products and product innovations from 8% in 2010 to 13% in 2011. * Demonstrated that Parkson’s Integrated Fixed Film Activated Sludge (IFAS) package plants sold to oil rig drillers in Saudi Arabia could meet both Title 22 and Ministry discharge requirements allowing company to legally pursue collection of more than $5M in unpaid revenue. * Exceeded revenues generated by Biological portfolio in 2011 by more than 30% through heavy support of Middle East office to promote IFAS package plants.
AERATION INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL INC., Chaska, Minnesota 2005 – 2010 Founded in 1974, Aeration Industries applies aspirator aeration and forced air surface aeration technologies to both aeration equipment and systems for the treatment of wastewater in the industrial, municipal, and aquaculture sectors. Systems Product and Process Engineering Manager Direct reports 3; employees 30. Developed and managed company’s System products with focus on differentiated products centered on company’s core aeration and mixing technologies. Managed Process Engineering Division handling all process related issues for treatment of industrial and municipal wastewater. * Developed Tri-Oval® Oxidation Ditch into fully-commercialized product and released in 2007. INFILCO DEGREMONT, Richmond, Virginia 1993 – 2005 Dating back to 1894, Infilco Degremont provides design and equipment supply for all stages of water, wastewater, and biosolids management focused on four primary business sectors - drinking water, industrial water, wastewater, and sludge treatment. Project Engineering Manager – Exceptional Projects Department (2004 – 2005) Direct reports 2; indirect reports 12; employees 500. Managed engineering of $120M Reverse Osmosis plant for Amman, Jordan converting surface water tributaries feeding into Dead Sea into drinking water. * Enabled company to meet requirements of USAID funded project by relocating to France and working at Degremont headquarters near Paris for 16 months. * Coordinated multi-national engineering teams simultaneously in France, Jordan, USA, and Argentina insuring project met aggressive schedule and rigorous technical requirements.
