About the OpportunityRCC South has an exciting opportunity for a Clean-up crew worker (Disaster Restoration) to join their dedicated team in Calgary, AB.
In this dynamic role, your main duty will be to assist in the restoration and clean up of properties that have suffered from a disaster in order to prevent further damage.
More specifically, you will assist in:
- Transporting house content;
- Removing standing water;
- Cleaning affected areas, ripping out carpeting/hardwood/drywall; and
- Installing dehumidifiers.
We are looking for a skilled individual who has no problem working in environments that have been affected by disasters (flooding, fires, etc.). You may also be required to assist in property demos.
To qualify for this role, you will need a Class 5 Driver's License (with a clean abstract), and will need to be bondable. We are looking for an able-bodied individual who is well presented, and can communicate well in both written and verbal situations. Additionally, if you enjoy working within a team, you'll be a good fit for the role.
Experience in a related discipline would be ideal, however if you are a conscientious, driven individual, we are willing to provide training.
