Could you please tell me what I can use for post denitrification as a carbon source except methanol or ethanol?

sugar, vinegar, mollases, high strength industrial wastewater, influent (sometimes)

Thanks a lot for the guidence. But can these materials be used for a large scale municipal Wastwater treatment plant? for example about sugar it could make nuisance of flies and insects. Is it true?

Glycerin is a byproduct of biofuels and is 1,000,000 mg/l BOD.
