The City of Oshkosh (pop. 66,000) is accepting applications for a Water Filtration Plant Operator. This full-time position is responsible for care and efficient operation of the Water Filtration Plant through performance of a variety of skilled and technical work in operating, maintaining, repairing, recording Filtration Plant operations on assigned rotating shifts.  Work includes covering a large working area, which contains several operating units of the Water Filtration Plant during an assigned shift.  Employees work independently on the basis of general and specific instruction for the day.  The minimum requirements for this position are: Associates degree in Water, Wastewater, or related field, or 1 year experience in Water, Wastewater or related field; certified by the WI DNR as a Grade T-Class S Waterworks Operator; and valid WI driver's license.
