I have been ask to haul about 1,000 gallons of Glycerin with Methanol with our septic pumping truck, I need to know more about this, as in can it be hauled without hazard waste permit and if so what about any residue left over after it has been offloaded. Any wash down procedure needed? Please help thanks.

Methanol is dangerous stuff. Here's an example of a general safety label for it:

http://www.chemicallabels.com/Chemical-Label/Methanol-ANSI-Safety-Warning-Label/SKU-LB-1584-081.aspx

I would try obtain MSDS sheets for what's in the products and be sure to follow the proper handling instructions and posted safety labels.(for the law and for your own safety too).

Each State will have their own variation on hazardous waste/materials transportation.  I suggest that you go to your state agency web site for hazardous waste and review the requirements.

You need more advice than I can present in this forum. You will be transporting a listed hazardous waste. Where are you transporting it to? Do you intend to process the waste in your treatment plant or just the washout from the tanker? I think that you may need more guidence (see below). Also the waste may be a characteristic waste (D001, ignitability) depending on the Flash point of the mixture.

§ 261.31   Hazardous wastes from non-specific sources.

F003-The following spent non-halogenated solvents: Xylene, acetone, ethyl acetate, ethyl benzene, ethyl ether, methyl isobutyl ketone, n-butyl alcohol, cyclohexanone, and methanol; all spent solvent mixtures/blends containing, before use, only the above spent non-halogenated solvents; and all spent solvent mixtures/blends containing, before use, one or more of the above non-halogenated solvents, and, a total of ten percent or more (by volume) of one or more of those solvents listed in F001, F002, F004, and F005; and still bottoms from the recovery of these spent solvents and spent solvent mixtures.

Get some help before you start.
