What can be a good coagulant? Can Alum be used? After coagulation, settling and filtration, can we reuse this water for washing again? Regards dlp

I have seen that AOPs (Advanced Oxidation Processes) are required to make the effluent biologically treatable. Does the following scheme, Acidification-Lime treatment-pH Correction-Flocculation by anionic Polyelectrolyte help? Can I get help?

nanosciences Full Member Offline OIL IS PASSE - WATER IS FUTURE Posts: 203 Bengaluru Gender: Company or Organization: OZO NANO SCIENCES	Re: Wash water from Urea Formaldehyde resin plant Reply #3 - Jun 17^th, 2012, 6:29am what is the raw inffluent pH..while i have no experience in treatment of such effluent all i can suggest is that check with a slight pH swing from acidic to alkaline or vice verse..add poly electrolyte for settlement..this should help..keep us posted here.. In my research, I watched the process. I have a few questions. How much wastewater is produced at the plant? what chemicals are contained in the wastewater? what do you do with the hardened resin?
