I'am operate a WWTP. What can i do when the flowrate is low (20 m3/day) but the volume of aerotank is large (V = 120 m3)? What's the suitable MLSS maintain in aerotank? Thank so much!

Reply #2 - Jul 1^st, 2012, 6:39am You haven't mentioned your treatment process and waste water source/ characteristics. If it's a ASP and source water is primarily sewage , you need not worry about MLSS at this flowrate. Just maintain the DO level at around 0.5-1ppm and there's no need to recycle the sludge for now.
