LES, a nationwide leading provider of comprehensive non-hazardous liquid waste collection, treatment and recycling services is looking for a Division Manager for our Jacksonville, FL location.

The primary customer base is restaurants, supermarkets and food manufacturing plants for their grease trap waster, automotive service facilities for their grit trap waste, and industrial plants for their nonhazardous wastewater.

The company currently services over 15,000 customer locations. Major multi-market accounts include Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Jack in the Box, and Yum Brands, among many other leading names. LES is in a high growth mode in all geographic areas served and in customer acquisition, and are well positioned for continued growth and expansion. The LES home office is based in Dallas and has over 400 team members.

Position Overview

The primary position responsibility is to manage and drive all Division functions to maximize revenue and profit by providing excellent customer service, managing expenses, allocating and maximizing resources while meeting all safety and compliance requirements. The Division Manager analyzes data and reports to top management through financial reports, forecasts, profit and loss statements and other tools necessary to manage the business and make informed decisions to maximize and enhance the business.

The Division Manager will drive the Three Pillars of the Company: Commitment to the Environment, Safety and Compliance, Customer Service

Responsibilities

Manages the activities of all aspects of the business unit to ensure safety and compliance, while maximizing profitability through expense control and revenue growth.
Full P & L responsibility for the Division.
Team Leader especially in areas surrounding the company’s Three Pillars.
Works with sales to grow volume and maximize pricing opportunities in the market.
Maintains an awareness of competitive market place activities, pricing, new players and other changes that could affect the business.
Focus on productivity, metrics, cost and continuous improvement.
Ensure that the transportation operation meets all DOT, state and municipal regulations and safety requirements on a daily basis.
Ensure that the plant meets State, EPA, OSHA, and all local, municipal, state and federal regulations and safety requirements.
Ensures proper staffing to maximize productivity and capacity utilization as well as meet customer requirements.
Trains, coaches and develops team members to maximize potential and performance.
Develop annual budget and other financial forecasts as needed.
Sets clear, definable and measurable goals for all business units, develops and communicates performance expected, follows up on progress and establishes accountability.
Identifies processing and disposal options to help the company meet its environmental goals as well as manage costs and remain compliant.
Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and procedures.
Establish and maintain relationships with regulators. The Division Manager is responsible for maintaining an excellent and transparent relationship with local and state inspectors, as well as senior local regulators (wastewater system operators).
Position Expectations





   ·         Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience, or the equivalent.

·         Five years of P& L responsibility and the ability to effectively manage team members.

·         Experience preferred in managing a business unit that included a large processing facility (waste water treatment a plus).

·         Excellent analysis, problem solving, and communication skills.

·         Working understanding of applicable regulations.

·         In depth, solid working understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel.
