Plant/Process Description:
The "Ucubamba" wastewater plant from Cuenca operates with two series of oxidation Lagoons system to treat up to 2 m3/seg of sanitary sewerage, it uses an total area of 40 hectares. Each series is compound of three lagoons. The plant began serving the City in 1996. The collection network system includes 500 kilometers of pipes. The plant provides service for 350.000 residents in Cuenca, Ecuador.
