Plant/Process Description:
This plant belongs to a group of plants
called "Compact", because, they are designed and
constructed for small cities. The WWTP of Los
Quenesis an activated sludge, designed for treat
2 liters per second of wastewater. The plant has
a sludge digester. The trated water is
clorinated and disposed in a river near the
plant. The digested sludge is transported in a
truck, for dewatering in another WWTP.
