Plant/Process Description:
This plant belongs to the group
called "Compact", because of, they are designed
for small cities. The WWTP of Gualleco is an
activated sludge, with aerobic digestion of
sludge. It is designes for treat 1 liter per
second. The digested sludge is disposed in a
drying bed (constructed in the same place). When
the dryed sludge reaches about 60% of humidity,
it is transported and disposed in a landfill.
