Plant/Process Description:
Plant designed for 150 liters per second. It is
a conventional activated sludge, with aerobic
digester of sludge. The municipal wastewater is
mixed with industrial wastewater, for reach an
increased ratio F/M, because of the little BOD
amount in the municipal wastewater. The two
aireation tanks have 800 fine bubble difussers
each. The settled sludge is thickened with a DAF
system, then it is digested in a batch tank. The
digested sludge is dewatered in twio belt press.
The production of dryed sludge is about 400 ton
per month. The treated water is clorinated and
disposed in a river near the plant.
