Plant/Process Description:
WRF#3 uses the EIMCO Carrousel denitIR System to
treat wastewater. According to the City's
website, the plant is "a staged, activated
sludge process which uses the BOD of the
wastewater to accomplish nitrogen removal
without chemicals." The reclaimed water is used
for irrigation and a US Filter Dragon Dryer
System converts the residual sludge into Class A
biosolids, which are used for fertilizer.

Go west on SR 40 to NW 60th Ave. Turn left on 60th Ave. Go south on 60th to SW 38th St. Turn right on 38th St. Go west on 38th to SW 67th Ave. Turn right on 67th Ave. Go north until you come to the plant driveway on the left, where you will see the Michael S. Finn Water Reclamation Facility #3 sign.
