The wastewater treatment facility in Eagle River
is designed to treat an average of 2.5 MGD.
Actual flows are about 1.5 MGD at this time.
Removal rates for TSS and BOD range between 98
and 99%. The conventional Activated Sludge
process we use is followed by effluent
filtration. Therefore we are designated a
Tertiary treatment facility.
