Plant/Process Description:
On March 14th 2008, New Water(Caribbean)Inc.'s
biggest operating wastewater treatment plant to
date, Rose Hall Reclamation Facility was
officially opened by the chairman of the Rose Hall
Development Ltd. Michele Rollins.
In 2006 Rose Hall Utilities Company Limited
(RHUCL)collaborated with New Water to deliver a
solution that would ensure the protection of the
local environment and coastline, as well as reduce
the pressure on the existing potable water
infrastructure. The result is a treatment facility
that can reclaim up to 1.3 million gallons of
water per day. This reclaimed water is
distributed back to the development of the golf
course and grounds irrigation, lake top up water
and other non-potable reuse applications.
Using MBR technology the treated water meets and
exceeds NEPA requirements.
