Plant/Process Description:
Toyota Motor Samrong Wastewater Treatment
Plant is based on chemical treatment, biological
treatment, and filtration system. Maximum
capacity is 1200 m3/day. Main wastewater sources
are from painting process and domestic.
Chemical Treatment System
Chemical Treatment System consists of 2
systems, one system uses for treating wastewater
from electrodeposition coating process and
another uses for treating wastewater from
degreasing process and phophate coating process.
Both systems using calcium hydroxide
precipitation method for heavy metal
removal.
Biological Treatment System
Our biological treatment system is Activated
Sludge Method for BOD, COD removal.
The process receives wastewater from domestic ,
sludge pool wastewater, and also wastewater
after chemical treatment.
Filtration System
Wastewater after biological treatment is send to
filtration system using sand,
anthrasite, and activated carbon for removing
odor, color, and small particle.
Treated water quality is controlled by
Ministry of Industry Standard (MOI) and also
controlled by Toyota Motor Thailand Standard
(TMT) that is strengthen than MOI 20% that be
sured treated water before discharge will be
friendly with environment.
Moreover, treated water is sent to reuse
for saving city water consumption such as roof
Spraying to reduce heat, toilet flushing,
gardening, and sent to RO recycle plant for
producing RO water.
