Plant/Process Description:
The Plant treats 30 gallons/second of surface
water and produce industrial and potable water. The water decants in two predecantators for reduction of torbidity and successively treats with an accelerated predecantator for the elimination of organic compound with addition of coagulants. The coagulated and flocculated water is processed with filtration in quarzite – GAC. The filtrated water is disinfected with the
chemical association of UV – ClO2.
