Technical Data

Primary treatment: Six automatic coarse-rake and six automatic fine-rake screens and 16 basins with a total useful volume of 18 480 m3.

Secondary treatment: 16 activated sludge basins with a total useful volume of 198 500 m3 and fine- bubble aeration. Compressed air is provided by steam turbine compressors. 54 basins with a total useful volume of 146 416 m3 for final clarification.

Sludge treatment: Six centrifuges and three fluidized bed furnaces with a fluidized bed temperature of 750°C and a maximum incineration temperature of 850°C.
