Thanks to the installation of a membrane bioreactor with downstream reverse osmosis from IS Industrial Technologies, Albert Köhler GmbH & Co. KG is now able to clean and reuse 90% of wastewater created from papermaking at the plant and lead it straight back into the production process. In doing so they lower their demand for fresh water and reduce the amount of steam produced in the plant. This not only reduces costs but also C02 emissions. http://www.siemens.com/water
