Alexandria, VA -- Ten weeks out from the the show's opening, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) announces a new record of 231,580 net square feet of exhibit floor space for WEFTEC® .06, the Federation's 79th annual exhibition and conference. The previous record of 216,350 was announced earlier this year.
This latest accomplishment continues a record-breaking year for the Water Environment Federation. Having already surpassed the previous floor space record of 213,950 nsf in April, the Federation has also set a new record for exhibiting companies. To date, 872 companies have reserved space for WEFTEC.06 - exceeding the previous record of 869 set at WEFTEC.05 - and is expected to grow over 900 by the show's opening in mid-October.
Recognized as the largest water quality event in North America, WEFTEC is a leading source for developments, research, regulations, solutions, and cutting-edge technologies in the water and wastewater fields. Offering the best water quality education and training available today, the world-class technical program will feature 94 technical sessions, 25 workshops, and 3 special sessions in more than 20 specialty tracks.
Over 16,000 water and wastewater professionals from around the world are expected to attend WEFTEC.06, October 21-25, 2006 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
