ENCON's Mechancial Vapor Compression Evaporator

Manchester, NH -- The ENCON Mechanical Vapor Compression (MVC) Evaporator is designed to drastically reduce costs associated with industrial wastewater disposal. The ENCON MVC is now available in capacities ranging from 75 gal/hr up to 1,500 gal/hr. Each MVC model can simultaneously process multiple industrial waste streams and yield a distilled water product at a fraction of the cost of other disposal methods.

Listening to the voice of our customers, the ENCON MVC Evaporator was developed with the following principles in mind:

- Minimize wastewater disposal costs by offering energy efficient evaporation technology.
- Minimize the requirement for manpower intervention.
- Comply with corporate and regulatory mandates for water reuse by converting wastewater to high quality distilled water.
- Handle multiple waste streams with a single piece of equipment.

As the cost of energy continues to rise, the ENCON MVC Evaporator offers an economical solution to your wastewater disposal problems. Using proprietary technology and off the shelf components, the ENCON MVC evaporator captures and reuses the latent heat normally lost in traditional evaporation equipment. This "energy-recycling" process reduces the ENCON MVC operating costs by 85% to 95% over thermal evaporation, resulting in an average cost-per-gallon of 1.5 cents (based on $0.10 per kWh).

Across virtually every industry, environmental regulations governing the discharge of industrial wastewater are becoming more stringent. The ENCON MVC Evaporator converts your industrial wastewater into clean distilled water by removing oils, soaps, solids, and literally hundreds of other contaminants. The resulting clean water can be reused in your processes, or safely dumped to the sewer.

The ENCON MVC Evaporator has simplified the process of wastewater management by eliminating the need for complex filtering or chemical treatment systems. By removing these time consuming and difficult to maintain processes, the ENCON MVC Evaporator also reduces the amount of manpower required. There are no filters to unclog, no sludge pits to empty, and no chemicals to mix.
