GENEVA, Switzerland -- Hach Ultra announces the release of the new Polymetron 9245 sodium analyzer. Today, sodium concentration is recognized as one of the most important indexes for the analysis of water quality throughout the steam and water cycle in all power plants.
Power plant integrators and operators worldwide will benefit from the ease of use and simple maintenance this new trace level sodium analyzer offers. On line industrial performance allows sodium measurement to levels as low as 20 parts per trillion.
The analyzer features automatic reactivation of the sodium electrode by use of a non-hazardous chemical injection ensuring optimum electrode operation even in ultra pure waters with continuously low sodium concentrations. A fully automated calibration option is available to ensure accuracy and eliminate any risk of human error. Manual calibration is also offered and a grab sample feature is included for off-line sampling.
This pre-mounted panel analyzer simplifies design and commissioning of the SWAS (Steam and Water Analysis System) panel, and its hydraulic design makes it suitable for samples with fluctuating pressure and flow.
