Warrendale, PA -- Siemens Water Technologies has announced its OSEC® B-Pak on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system. Ideal for wastewater or drinking water disinfection applications, the OSEC B-Pak system provides all of the necessary components for the critical production of sodium hypochlorite in a convenient package.

The new system's packaged design equals a smaller footprint and significantly lower installation costs. The OSEC B-Pak system's "plug & play" design concepts simplify consulting engineer design work and make the system particularly suited to retrofit applications that have space constraints.

Available in standard capacities from 250 to 1500 pounds per day of equivalent chlorine, the OSEC B-Pak system produces sodium hypochlorite on-site and on-demand from salt, water and electricity. This eliminates the transport, handling and storage difficulties associated with commercial sodium hypochlorite or chlorine gas.

The OSEC B-Pak system can also significantly lower operating costs. Operation is completely automatic, making the system ideally suited for remote or unmanned locations. For long-term operation and reliability, Siemens Water Technologies provides more than 85 service locations for fast, local support in the continental U.S.
