Windsor Locks, CT -- Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., signed an agreement to acquire Dosatron International, a leading designer and manufacturer of specialized dosing/metering pumps. Dosatron is a privately held company, and terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

Dosatron, based in Tresses, France, supplies advanced water-powered dosing pump systems and accessories for customers in agricultural, irrigation and industrial business segments. It will become part of Milton Roy, one of Hamilton Sundstrand’s three Industrial companies.

“We are extremely pleased to have Dosatron join the Hamilton Sundstrand Industrial team,” said Stephen G. Oswald, president of Hamilton Sundstrand’s Industrial group. “Dosatron has great technology and is one of the leading players in its segment. The acquisition is also a great addition to our Milton Roy businesses allowing us to expand into new products and add to our presence in France.”

The Industrial division of Hamilton Sundstrand includes the Milton Roy, Sundyne and Sullair business units.

With 2006 revenues of $5 billion, Hamilton Sundstrand employs approximately 17,000 people worldwide and is headquartered in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, USA. Among the world’s largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products, the company designs, manufactures and services aerospace systems and provides integrated system solutions for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft. It also is a major supplier for international space programs.

United Technologies Corporation, based in Hartford, Conn., USA, is a diversified company that provides high-technology products and services to the aerospace and building industries.
