DENVER, CO -- CH2M HILL, a global full-service engineering, construction, and operations firm has completed the acquisition of Wade & Associate, Inc., a Kansas-based engineering consulting firm specializing in wastewater conveyance.

"Joining CH2M HILL will allow Wade & Associates to expand our suite of services to better meet the diverse needs of our clients, while still maintaining the quality level of service and commitment to clients that Wade has become known for," said Mark Wade, president of Wade & Associates. "All of us at Wade & Associates look forward to continuing to serve our clients and tap into the vast array of resources and career opportunities offered by CH2M HILL."

“We are proud to welcome Wade & Associates into the CH2M HILL family,” said Tom Searle, president of CH2M HILL’s Water Business Group. “A well respected firm, Wade & Associates will bring a depth of experience in wastewater conveyance that will expand the services that CH2M HILL can offer our clients. Wade & Associates will benefit from access to CH2M HILL’s global presence and resources and increased career growth opportunities. Together we look forward to helping clients nationwide meet their increasing conveyance system needs and mitigate combined sewer and sanitary sewer overflows.”

Since its inception in 1989, Wade & Associates has completed more than 400 sanitary sewer projects across the nation including major engagements for clients in Phoenix, Ariz.; Fort Worth, Texas; Kansas City, Mo.; Johnson County, Kan.; Tulsa, Okla., Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Austin, Texas. A highly regarded wastewater conveyance firm, Wade & Associates specializes in master planning, hydraulic modeling, sanitary sewer evaluation studies, regulatory compliance, flow monitoring, design, and operations and maintenance. The firm is headquartered in Lawrence, Kansas with other offices in Missouri, Texas, and Arizona.

With increased regulation and aging infrastructure, a recent EPA survey showed the need for more than $100 billion in conveyance system improvements and combined sewer overflow abatement over the next 20 years. Through this acquisition, CH2M HILL and Wade & Associates will provide a complete package of services, resources, and technical expertise to meet all aspects of these wet weather and wastewater management needs.

Wade & Associates’ clients will also benefit from increased full-service capabilities, including design-build and program and construction management.
