JWCE Introduces New Auger Monster System

Costa Mesa, CA -- To remove and clean larger flows of wastewater, the new Auger Monster XE screening system offers substantial improvements, including the new pivoted auger design (a JWC exclusive) which allows the screening trough to easily pivot and swivel out of the channel for inspection.

Additional enhancements include: increased removal efficiency with a 35º inclined auger; dual ultrasonic level detectors run the system only when needed to save electricity; a “fail-safe” mode ensures continuous operation – even when the electronics are disabled; and all frames and covers are made from polished, passivated stainless steel.

The Auger Monster XE combines three of JWC Environmental’s finest technologies – a grinder, a fine screen and a compactor—into one compact footprint and grinds, removes, washes, dewaters and compacts unwanted solids. A powerful Muffin Monster® or Channel Monster® grinder shreds solids which are captured by a perforated screen (2, 3 or 6mm openings) and removed by the rotating auger. As solids are removed by the auger, fecal matter is washed off in the dual wash water zones. The remaining clean solids continue to the discharge point where the compactor (optional) squeezes out the remaining water.

The Auger Monster Modular Headworks System is perfect for small to medium headworks, correctional facilities or institutions that require reliable, umanned operation 24 hours per day. With the Auger Monster, wastewater screening couldn’t get any easier – it’s the ONLY one that’s all-in-one!

Learn more about JWC's Auger Monster XE and other screening equipment at booth 2137 -WEFTEC 07, San Diego, California, Oct. 15-17, 2007.
