Loveland, CO -- Delivering superior accuracy and repeatability, the new Hach LBOD IntelliCAL(TM) Probe is all you need for measuring Dissolved Oxygen in biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) applications.

With the same great benefits as the Hach LDO probe, the LBOD IntelliCAL Probe also features an active stirrer for measuring BOD. The only BOD system available using the patented and proven LDO® technology, the LBOD IntelliCAL Probe eliminates measurement uncertainty associated with membranes.

The Hach LBOD probe complies with requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-based BOD5 and CBOD testing. This breakthrough LDO technology has been recommended by the EPA and fully approved in many states across the U.S. for measuring and reporting dissolved oxygen and BOD in municipal and industrial wastewater facilities.

To save you time and money, the LBOD IntelliCAL Probe calibrates in less than one minute. With no membranes or electrolytes to replace and no electrodes to polish, the LBOD IntelliCAL Probe requires little maintenance. The probe is designed for use with the Hach HQd plug-and-play meter, which can take up to two simultaneous measurements of pH, conductivity, temperature, DO or BOD.
