JWC Environmental Expands It's East Coast Factory

Costa Mesa, CA -- A rising number of orders for Muffin Monster® and Channel Monster® grinders has led JWCE to expand its Georgia facility by 7,700 square feet (715 m2) bringing the total manufacturing space to 20,000 sf (1,800 m2). Wastewater and sludge grinders are already rolling off the expanded assembly line.

The additional space in Buford allows JWCE to increase its manufacturing capacity as well as repair and ship grinders to East Coast customers at a faster rate - in some cases shaving a week or more off the turnaround time. In addition, the expansion allows JWC to add more inventory and staffing to the Georgia facility.

"The target is to double monthly grinder shipments over the next 12 months," said Mark Upton, Director of Operations. "JWCE is rapidly expanding and we want to respond to our customers with lightening speed - whether they need service or a new unit."

"The expansion will increase safety, production and help us maintain the JWCE standard of quality," added Richard Woznick, Operations Manager for Georgia. "Most importantly it allows us to focus more on our customers."

JWCE is also expanding the Georgia leadership team. Richard was promoted to Operations Manager and will focus on production, staffing and inventory control. James King has been hired as Production Supervisor and will work with Richard to oversee repairs, assembly and quality control. "Rick LeShane, the Eastern Product Support Manager, will focus on customer service and our field service technicians," added Mark.

The additional space allows Georgia's hard working and dedicated staff to enhance customer service and ship more Muffin Monster grinders than ever before.

JWC Environmental distributes its products through a global network of independent representatives and distributors. In addition, JWC provides extensive sales and service support through regional and international product support centers.
