Rock Hill, SC -- Atlas Copco Compressors has developed a new edition of the Compressed Air Manual, a comprehensive reference book written by engineers, for engineers, that is designed to assist in the optimization of compressed air systems.
Areas and topics covered in the latest edition include: theory, compressors and auxiliary equipment, dimensioning and servicing compressor installations, economy, and calculation examples.
“The Atlas Copco Compressed Air Manual has proven to be the definitive reference book for the compressed air industry for two generations of engineers, and we are pleased to offer our newest edition of this updated book,” said Paul Humphreys, vice president communications and branding of Rock Hill, SC-based Atlas Copco Compressors LLC.
“Now in its fourth decade, the Compressed Air Manual for 2010 continues to provide the most up-to-date content and remains the must-have reference book for any compressed air professional,” Humphreys said.
Information included in the Compressed Air Manual is compiled and written by engineers and offers theories and solutions with leading-edge technology to a variety of compressed air professionals — business leaders, manufacturing experts, students and scientists. Already more than 1,000 compressed air professionals have requested this latest version of the manual since its recent release.
