Broomfield, CO – TAG The | Asset | Group, a premier provider of asset management solutions to the utilities industry, announced today that it will be offering two Utility Asset Management Workshop in California in September. The first will be held in Pasadena on September 21 and the second in San Diego on September 23.
The workshops, offering an introduction to Asset Management strategy and implementation, will be led by Tony Urquhart, international asset management expert and co-author of the International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM). The IIMM represents international best practice in infrastructure management. Urquhart has presented over 35 asset management workshops in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Middle East.
“The TAG Utility Asset Management workshops provide an interactive, hands-on approach to asset management,” Urquhart said. “Anyone interested in learning what utility asset management is and how to implement it will benefit greatly from these sessions.”
The workshop will be delivered by TAG’s team of asset management experts, who will provide attendees with empowering information about how to establish an asset management vision and strategy, overcome obstacles to asset management, and implement asset management in a utility environment. The workshop format is a combination of educational presentations and roundtable discussion, allowing attendees to benefit from the knowledge and experience of the workshop presenters as well as from peer utilities.
TAG’s Water Utility Asset Management Workshops have been previously delivered in Seattle, WA; Orlando, FL; Napa, CA and in Sofia, Bulgaria. All attendees surveyed said they would recommend these workshops to other utilities or fellow employees.
