Findlay, OH -- A unique new specification writing program is available for engineers, architects and designers to help them save time on projects.
“Spec Professor™ is an easy to use program that offers tailored specifications at the click of a button,” says Bill Altermatt, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “This is the first program of its kind, plus it offers detailed specifications on a variety of construction options and not just Hancor products.”
This valuable new tool will assist engineers, architects and designers to create up-to-date specifications for the Storm Drainage, Sanitary Sewer and Low-Head Transmission portions of a project.
Spec Professor lets users select from many of the most commonly used pipe types and then helps to ensure the products are correctly specified for the application. The program prompts users to select common project conditions including effluent and soil conditions, joint requirements, environmental considerations and Best Management Practices.
Once the project’s specific options are selected, Spec Professor will generate the pipe portion of the project in CSI format and then allow engineers and architects to tailor the specs to their individual projects by editing and pasting into the master project specifications.
“Spec Professor changes with the standards because it is appropriately updated and provides the most current technically sound research, industry and engineering practices,” says Altermatt. “That is how Hancor can ensure uncompromising integrity – the data used to deliver the specification is based upon the most current industry research recommendations issued by various approval agencies.”
To try Spec Professor for yourself, visit the Hancor website at www.hancor.com, or call 1-888-FOR PIPE (367-7473) for more information.
