Software Compares System Design with Actual Performance

Lacey, WA -- Engineered Software, Inc., the leading provider of software used to design and simulate the operation of fluid piping systems, announced the ability to compare waste and drinking water system design with actual performance using its newly released Software Development Kit (SDK). The SDK works in conjunction with the company’s innovative PIPE-FLO Professional program.

SCADA systems are used to gather data on how equipment is currently running. Utilizing the SDK and PIPE-FLO, a monitoring application can be created that compares design data with actual performance and notifies users when a problem exists. It can even notify users when equipment is running outside the manufacturers specified operating ranges, when a pump has inadequate Net Positive Suction Head or provide the flow rate to a load even when a flow meter is not available.

“The SDK allows our customers to create a custom application that provides them a real-time comparison between how a waste or drinking water system was designed to work and how it is actually working,” said Ray Hardee, Vice President of Engineering at Engineered Software, Inc. “This will allow users to locate trouble spots and make changes before major problems occur, saving valuable time and money.”

About Engineered Software, Inc. – Founded in 1982, Engineered Software, Inc. has created products that are known worldwide for high end-user satisfaction rates.
