Vineland, NJ -- USFilter Wallace & Tiernan Products introduces additional measurement capabilities for its popular Depolox® 3 plus Residual Analyzer, which is used to continuously measure free and total chlorine in drinking water applications.
With the addition of two new disinfectant measurands, the analyzer is now capable of six different measuring capabilities. Utilizing membrane probe technology, the analyzer is capable of measuring chlorine dioxide and ozone residuals in addition to the total chlorine measurement capabilities. Also, new technology provides for measurement of free chlorine without the need for any additional chemical reagents or pH buffering.
The Depolox 3 plus Residual Analyzer uses proven and universally accepted amperometric measurement technology to directly measure disinfectant residuals and provide a 4-20 mA output signal for control or recording purposes.
The membrane-type probes are available with a choice of sensor cable length up to 164 ft. for added flexibility during installation. In addition, the three-electrode technology eliminates the need for the constant zero adjustment that is typical of other analyzers. Reliability and stability are vastly improved, while maintenance is dramatically reduced. Also, calibration and accuracy are not affected by changes in turbidity or conductivity.
Millions of people and thousands of companies rely on USFilter every day to help them meet their clean water needs. Headquartered in Palm Desert, Calif., USFilter (www.usfilter.com) is a $1 billion water company with 6,000 experienced professionals dedicated to delivering cost-effective, reliable water and wastewater treatment systems and services to municipal, industrial, commercial and institutional customers worldwide.
