Newport Beach, CA -- Boyle Engineering Corporation has extended its considerable reach in Florida by acquiring LBFH, Inc., a consulting civil engineering, survey and mapping firm headquartered in Palm City, Florida. The firm provides services to municipalities, special districts, and private clients located primarily in south and southwest Florida.

"We are very pleased to have LBFH join the Boyle team. This union brings us a landmark opportunity to grow and position Boyle, consistent with our strategic objectives," says Phil Petrocelli, President/CEO of Boyle Engineering Corporation. "The combination of the two firms in Florida allows us to become one of the top providers in the markets we serve and offer a broader spectrum of opportunities for our employees."

Mr. Michael Hermesmeyer, President/CEO of LBFH comments, "We are pleased to become part of the Boyle team. The acquisition gives us the opportunity to bring additional resources to our clients and additional career opportunities to our team members."

Established in 1970, LBFH specializes in the planning and design of public works projects involving water supply and treatment, wastewater collection, stormwater management, irrigation water distribution, water resources, land development and transportation. The firm has a rich 35 year history, 6 office locations, and approximately 200 employees providing professional services for Martin County Utilities, City of West Palm Beach, St. Lucie County, St. John's Water Control District, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and City of Stuart, to name a few.

Boyle Engineering Corporation provides a wide range of professional services in water, wastewater, and transportation. Begun in 1942 as a sole proprietorship, the firm has national presence and enjoys an excellent reputation in its core businesses. The Engineering News-Record 2005 Sourcebook ranks Boyle among the Top 20 in the category of Water Supply. Boyle has offices in 20 U.S. cities, primarily in California, Florida, and the Rocky Mountain states. The corporate headquarters is in Newport Beach, California. LBFH will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Boyle.
